ACTION Innovation Network and Northeastern University Hold Experiential Programs Luncheon at Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security

January 22, 2019

ACTION co-hosted the Northeastern University Experiential Programs Luncheon on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 with our affiliate member, Northeastern University, held at Northeastern University’s Kostas Research Institute (KRI) in Burlington, MA. The Luncheon followed ACTION Innovation Network's Annual Meeting. After the event, tours were offered of the Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security labs and Northeastern University’s Burlington Innovation Campus.

During the Luncheon, several Northeastern faculty and staff presented information on programs that enable employers (incubators, startup companies, corporations and other organizations) to work with talented Northeastern students remotely, on short and longer-term projects. This arrangement offers student assistance (graduate and professional level) on projects to small or large organizations at no cost, while providing the students with highly relevant work experience and real-world learning opportunities.

Are you an employer within our network looking for talented graduate level students to work on a project that you define? Northeastern students bring proficiency in many domains to assist employers, including data analytics and business intelligence, healthcare and biotech, communications and media, leadership and project management, manufacturing, security, non-profit management, and GIS, to name a few.
