ACTION to Showcase Regional Incubator Ecosystem to International Entrepreneurs

September 29, 2017

ACTION will present a morning-long session, with UMass Lowell's Innovation Hub and M2D2 incubators, to ten startup companies from Spain, Chile, the UK and Austria that have been chosen to participate in the Richi Social Entrepreneurs' (RSE) Boston Immersion Program, to introduce them to incubator facilities and rich regional assets available that support cleantech and healthtech innovations. During the three week Boston Immersion Program in November, RSE will provide positive impact startups with an immersion experience into Boston's (and beyond) innovation ecosystem.

Participants interact and connect with investors, key market players, advisors, industry experts and private/public institutions with whom they may develop valuable synergies. Companies will validate and review their strategy to become attractive to the US market, unleashing new business opportunities and resources for the companies.

The morning will begin with a tour of member incubator, UMass Lowell's Innovation Hub and M2D2. Following that will be a panel/workshop on product design and development for cleantech and medical devices. ACTION will showcase its New England incubator network, along with many of the world-class R&D institutes, test facilities, etc. that make up the broader network. Other ACTION members will present about the regional resources available through their individual incubators or accelerators.
