ACTION has negotiated free Solidworks Premium, Simulation Premium and SolidWorks Flow licenses for its members interested in providing the software for use by member startups. CADD Edge has developed overview and training tools to expedite the time required to begin utilizing these powerful design tools.

CADD Edge will be presenting an introduction to and demonstration of Solidworks design software and an overview of how to utilize CADD Edge tools. In addition, there will be a discussion on how a company can utilize the design and interface to a 3D printer in developing a product prototype. CADD Edge also is a distributor of Stratasys 3D printers. CADD Edge has developed a 3D printer lab that includes different printers and materials used that they will describe, as well as how to access that lab in prototyping efforts.
